Mr. Welling started his career in the recruiting/staffing industry in 1996 with Robert Half International. For the better part of his first 16 years in recruiting he worked in the Accounting and Finance and/or IT verticals. In 2012 Rob moved into the world of insurance recruiting and has worked solely in that space ever since. In 2014 Rob began focusing on building a book of business in Texas though he lived in Maryland, finding the economic and political climate of Texas to his liking. He liked it so much that he and his wife relocated to the DFW market as soon as their youngest son graduated HS in 2020.
He specializes in recruiting Retail Agency Producers, handling Team Lifts and small Acquisitions on a strictly retained basis. He also has a strong vertical focus on the Franchised Dealership marketplace recruiting producers who sell F&I products as well as P&C and Employee Benefits.
