Associate Broker, Wholesale Insurance
Risk Transfer Partners is a wholesale casualty broker specializing in placement of a wide range of business within the Energy, Construction, Environmental and Manufacturing industries. As an Associate Broker you will partner with the Broker providing superior support regarding all policies and key accounts. In addition, the Associate Broker is expected to provide high quality service to agents and companies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to all requests from brokerage team, underwriters or retailers regarding account servicing
  • Interact regularly with clients and underwriters regarding policies, recommending additional coverages as needed or requested and respond to queries and concerns ensuring prompt resolution
  • Accurately explain coverages and liabilities to agents and/or clients
  • Assist with quotations for new business, renewals and endorsements through managing all company correspondence in a timely manner
  • Develop a professional rapport with clients and underwriters to enhance new and ongoing business relationships
  • Manage all account documentation
  • Initiate and coordinate renewal activity on assigned accounts
  • Initiate cancellation and non-renewal notices according to statutory and contractual requirements
  • Analyze policies, endorsements, audits, reporting forms and cancellations and initiate necessary corrections to ensure accuracy of all pertinent data
  • Facilitate the flow of information from agents and underwriters
  • Maintain suspense system and follow-up for receipt of policies, endorsements, inspections reports, correspondence, claims, etc. from outside sources
  • Process binders, invoices, and tax filings forwarding the binder and invoice to the agent
  • Monitor accounting (payment, collections, taxes, etc.) anticipating and preventing problems when possible

Commercial Property Claims Professional
Are you the right candidate for this role?  We are searching for someone who will be responsible for the investigation, valuation, establishment of reserves, and settlement of first party property claims within a predetermined settlement authority. Ensures that all assigned claims are concluded promptly and accurately within the provisions of the policy contract and in accordance with the damages presented.
Essential Functions

  • Investigate, evaluate, and negotiate claims to reach a fair settlement
  • Negotiate settlement of claims with insured while following claim best practices and within authorized settlement authority
  • Handle questions on coverage with a reservation of rights letter and/or non-waiver agreement.
  • Maintain a complete and thoroughly detailed claim file ensuring files are accurately detailed and all supporting documents are memorialized
  • Uses proactive communication and persuasive negotiation to ensure a positive customer experience
  • Treat customers in a courteous and professional manner providing timely, thorough, accurate information and assistance
  • Work closely with the field appraisers to ensure accurate and timely damage evaluations.
  • Adjust reserves to accurately reflect the exposure and issue payments timely to the appropriate parties
  • Identify subrogation and/or salvage situations in a timely manner to protect the interests of the Corporation and request documents needed to process salvage
  • Handles all claims within the guidelines of the state’s Fair Claims Practices Acts and other regulations while ensuring timeliness and KPIs are being met
  • Maintain an up-to-date diary
  • Maintain vital licensing and continuing education

Competencies and Qualifications

  • The Ideal candidate will be detail oriented and organized, have a sense of urgency, be a problem solver, servant leader, and good communicator along with being a team player with demonstrated ability to build rapport, confidence, and trust externally and internally
  • Inside or Outside Commercial Lines claim handling experience required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an inside or outside claims professional with commercial claims as the primary focus
  • Have a dedicated work from home space free of distractions as this role will allow for some remote work
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Live in the DFW area or relocating to the DFW area (no relocation assistance available)

We are looking for an organized, diligent, and decisive person who can balance the compliance and administrative needs of our company.  The candidate must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and have the potential and desire to grow with us.
Duties and Responsibilities

  • Process all incoming and outgoing mail and checks
  • Arrange hotels and transportation for guests, as directed by company management
  • Maintain office supplies, including logging and tracking all company equipment
  • Maintain conference rooms and pantries in a clean and organized manner
  • Prepare Company newsletter and bulletins as directed
  • Perform miscellaneous company administration tasks as directed by Office Manager
  • Assist onboarding process for new employees

Skills and Experience:

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel user with a high proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
  • High level of organization skills
  • Ability to demonstrate high level of customer service capabilities
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work closely with others
  • Demonstrate a technical proficiency with all computer systems necessary for the efficient management of daily tasks
  • One (1) year of experience in the insurance industry preferred

What You Will Be Doing

  • Achieves technical insurance knowledge and sales skills by attending training sessions and sales
  • Ability to work with senior level-management and have a top-level executive presence.

Requirements

  • Property and Casualty insurance license required
  • 3-5 years of experience in insurance brokerage, carrier, or related business to business sales experience and a track record of financial success
  • Must be a personable, highly motivated, goal-oriented, and organized individual that is driven to achieve individual sales goals.
  • Superior written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent organization and follow-up skills.
  • Excellent listening skills with a strong customer focus.

This is a remote work remote position with excellent back office support out of the Dallas Headquarters.
