Julie joined Welling Young in 2021 as a Talent Acquisition leader, bringing over 20 years of recruiting experience. Much of her experience has focused on technology and leadership roles spanning a number of industries. Julie started her HR/Recruiting career working for a couple of very busy Dallas area agencies and after landing a role as an onsite HR & Recruiting lead at Microsoft she grew interested in IT and corporate recruiting. Her expertise includes successfully using her sourcing and candidate screening skills across different industries and profiles to generate diverse talent slates and partnering with businesses to build strong and successful teams. She is committed to delivering effective recruiting marketing programs, driving continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives that lead to valued results.
After transitioning their 2 daughters out of the house and into college, Julie and her husband traded in the city living for a house on 4 acres and enjoy the quietness of the country along with their dog and 3 chickens. Both of her daughters and son-in-law have also found their niche in the Commercial insurance industry.
